John M. Brestovansky - CO, C.Ped

John M. Brestovansky CO, C.Ped, is the founder and owner of Total Care Orthotics and Prosthetics, which is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Brest is a second-generation orthotist and has practiced in Tulsa since 1996. John began his orthotic and prosthetic career working for his father who was a Certified Orthotist with over 40 years of commitment to the orthotic and prosthetic profession.

John is nationally credentialed by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics. In addition to national certification, he is state licensed in both disciplines by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.

John's clinical experience involves direct patient care including pediatrics through geriatrics. His special interests include spinal orthotic care, trauma and sports medicine related conditions. Along with his clinical practice at Total Care, John is a consultant for many high school and college sports programs in the area. He also enjoys competitive cycling, as well as spending time with his wife and children.
 

Jim Yount - CO, BOCP, LPO

Jim has been providing patient care in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 45 years. He is a dual credentialed and state licensed orthotist/prosthetist. He provides orthotic and prosthetic devices for all regions of the body with a special interest in lower limb vacuum assisted prosthetics.

Jim is nationally certified by ABC and BOC. He is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Jim's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA). He is credentialed at numerous hospitals in northeast Oklahoma.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family at the lake. He also volunteers many hours towards the improvement of prosthetic awareness by participating in social activities and prosthetic events with his patients. 

Maci King - ABC Certified Prosthetic Technician 

Maci is an ABC Certified Prosthetic Technician with a passion for helping others regain their mobility and independence. When she is not working on innovative prosthetic solutions, she enjoys expressing her creativity through sewing, crocheting, and practicing jiu-jitsu. These hobbies not only offer a sense of relaxation and personal challenge but also inspire her to approach her work with precision, patience, and a problem-solving mindset.

Administrative / Support Staff 

Our Administrative staff has decades of knowledge and experience navigating the complex world of insurance and providing exceptional care to all patients. 

Theresa Boyd - Office Manager

Theresa has been in the orthotic and prosthetic profession for over 30 years. Over that period of time, she has been involved in many different roles pertaining to orthotic and prosthetic administration.

She has extensive knowledge in dealing with Medicare and other insurance company protocol. Theresa realizes that each patients' insurance is unique and may require in-depth detail. She is here to offer her expertise and knowledge so that your overall experience will be the best available.

Theresa enjoys the RV life with her family and spending time with her grandson!

Tilea Melton - Clinical Operations Director

Tilea has been in the field of Orthotics & Prosthetics for more than 10 years. She brings compassion and a positive attitude every day. She is helpful & knowledgeable when explaining the complex requirements of insurance to patients which eases their concerns and allows them to focus on healing.

Away from work she is dedicated to raising her canine baby and spending time with family.

Peri Yount - Office Administrator

Peri brings a wealth of knowledge to her job having worked the last few years in a busy primary care practice. She is vibrant and friendly and a welcome addition to our team. She leads a very healthy lifestyle outside of the office. She enjoys hiking, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Faith Dooley - Patient Care Coordinator 

Faith is a dedicated Care Coordinator who strives to make a positive impact in the lives of those she serves by ensuring they receive the best care possible. Outside of work, she is a big fan of Taylor Swift, and her music often provides her with motivation and joy. She also cherishes spending quality time with her family and diving into a good book, which allows her to unwind and continuously learn.

Lauren Glendening - Office Administrator

Lauren is an organized and efficient Office Administrator who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. When she is not managing office tasks, she is either jamming out to Britney Spears, spending time with her dogs, or enjoying a laid-back day hanging out with friends. She also has a love for dolphins.
