John Brestovansky - CO, C.Ped

John is the founder and owner of Total Care Orthotics and Prosthetics, which is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. John is a second-generation orthotist and has practiced in Tulsa since 1996. John began his orthotic and prosthetic career working for his father who was a Certified Orthotist with over 40 years of commitment to the orthotic and prosthetic profession.

John is nationally credentialed by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics. In addition to national certification, he is state licensed in both disciplines by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.

John's clinical experience involves direct patient care including pediatrics through geriatrics. His special interests include spinal orthotic care, trauma and sports medicine related conditions. Along with his clinical practice at Total Care, John is a consultant for many high school and college sports programs in the area. He also enjoys competitive cycling, as well as spending time with his wife and children.

Jim Yount - CO, BOCP, LPO

Jim has been providing patient care in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 45 years. He is a dual credentialed and state licensed orthotist/prosthetist. He provides orthotic and prosthetic devices for all regions of the body with a special interest in lower limb vacuum assisted prosthetics.

Jim is nationally certified by ABC and BOC. He is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Jim's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA). He is credentialed at numerous hospitals in northeast Oklahoma.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his family at the lake. He also volunteers many hours towards the improvement of prosthetic awareness by participating in social activities and prosthetic events with his patients. 

Peri Yount - C.Ped

Peri Yount has been practicing as a Certified Pedorthist since earning her certification in 2024 from the Midwest School of Modern Pedorthics.

Peri is nationally certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) and is committed to delivering individualized, high-quality care. Her professional affiliations include participation in local pedorthic and orthotic networks, and she is actively involved in continuing education to stay current on advances in the field.

Outside of her clinical work, Peri enjoys fitness, hiking, and spending time with friends. She is passionate about helping patients achieve improved mobility and quality of life through personalized orthotic care.

Alexis dohner - Cpo

Alexis is an American Board-Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist and is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Her specialties include cranial remolding orthosis for infants as well as lower extremity orthotics and prosthetics for adults. As a clinician seeing both adult and pediatric patients, Alexis provides orthotic and prosthetic care to individuals with a wide variety of diagnoses. An advocate for multi-disciplinary care, she is a proponent of occupational and physical therapy working with O&P intervention to achieve optimal functional goals.

 

Alexis earned her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology at University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and her Master's of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics at California State Dominguez Hills. She completed an 18-month dual orthotic and prosthetic residency in South Louisiana where she is originally from and in 2020 she and her husband relocated to Green County. With over a decade of patient care, Alexis then took time off to expand her family and she is now happy to return in a part-time capacity as a new addition to the Total Care team. When she is not in clinic she is a stay at home mom to her little girl and enjoys cooking, crafting, and playing pickleball

Maci King - ABC Certified prosthetic technician

Maci King is an ABC Certified Prosthetic Technician dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence through personalized prosthetic solutions. She brings a detail-oriented and compassionate approach to her work, ensuring each device is tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual.

Outside of the clinic, Maci enjoys practicing jiu-jitsu. She finds it challenges her both physically and mentally, and inspires her to bring focus, discipline, and persistence to her professional work.

Maci’s combination of technical expertise, creativity, and dedication to patient care makes her an integral part of the team, committed to improving lives one prosthetic at a time.
